In the State Of Texas, a license is required to perform security related services. These services, include installing security cameras, alarm systems, locks, access control, and fire alarm systems, just to mention a few. All of these services are regulated by the Texas Private Security Bureau, a division of the Texas Department Of Public Safety’s Regulatory Services Division.
RedGear is licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) through The Texas Private Security Bureau to install security systems. Our Texas License Number is B-10549701. Our employees are background checked by the DPS and given identification cards to carry at all times. In addition to the DPS background check, RedGear administers random drug testing to its employees as well. Another requirement is that licensed companies carry prescribed amounts of both liability and workers compensation insurance.
